Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup fruit juice (orange, apple, or grape) Choose your favorite juice.
  • 1/2 cup carrot juice Adds sweetness and a nutrient boost.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Optional sweetener.
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin Gives gummies their chewy texture.
  • 1/2 cup water Used for blooming the gelatin.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine your fruit juice and carrot juice. Heat over medium until hot but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Add honey or maple syrup if desired and stir until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into gummy molds or a shallow baking dish.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours until solid.

Notes

Use silicone molds for easy removal. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. Don’t be afraid to experiment with flavors!
