Preparation
- If you like your strawberries a bit sweeter, combine them with the sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for about 10-15 minutes to draw out their natural juices.
Layering
- Start by placing a layer of Nilla wafers at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Spread a layer of vanilla pudding over the wafers.
- Add a layer of the sweetened strawberries on top of the pudding.
- Follow with a layer of whipped cream over the strawberries.
- Continue the layering process until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
Chill & Serve
- Allow the pudding to chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
- Garnish with additional sliced strawberries or a sprinkle of crushed Nilla wafers just before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2-3 days for best flavor. The wafers may soften over time.
