  • 3 bags Matcha.com Gyokuro tea bags Or use loose Gyokuro tea, adjust the quantity accordingly.
  • 3 cups cold or room temperature water
Sweeteners and Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 whole lemon juice Optional.
  • Handful pieces fresh mint leaves For garnish.
  • To taste cubes ice For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the three Matcha.com Gyokuro tea bags in a pitcher or large jar.
  2. Pour three cups of cold or room temperature water over the tea bags. Ensure the bags are submerged completely.
  3. Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
Serving
  1. In the morning, take out the tea bags and gently press them against the sides of the container to extract any remaining flavor.
  2. Stir in the honey and lemon juice, if using.
  3. Serve over ice with a few fresh mint leaves for an added refreshing touch.
