Ingredients
  

Base
  • 4 pieces Mini pita breads or English muffins Cut into small rounds
Sauce
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce Or tomato sauce or pesto
Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese For topping
Toppings
  • 1 cup Mixed toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, spinach) Customize based on preferences
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Or basil or Italian seasoning for flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place mini bases on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Spread a teaspoon of sauce on each base to cover the surface.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add your desired toppings without overcrowding.
  6. Sprinkle a light dusting of dried herbs on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Cooling and Packing
  1. Allow pizzas to cool for a few minutes before packing into lunchboxes.
  2. Optionally, include a small container of marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Experiment with different topping combinations and involve kids in the preparation. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
