Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. In a bowl, combine the drained corn, mayonnaise, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until well blended.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Butter the bottom of a baking dish with the tablespoon of butter to prevent sticking.
  5. Spoon the corn mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the corn mixture.
  7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in some spices or extra ingredients like jalapeños. Be cautious about overbaking and under-seasoning for the best results.
