Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless Wild-caught salmon is preferred for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Preferably local or organic for better flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Provides a zesty flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Keeps the salmon moist.
  • To taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • Optional Breadcrumbs For added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk the ingredients until well blended.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Brush the honey mustard mixture generously over each fillet. Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
Cooking
  1. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until it turns golden brown and is cooked through but still moist.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
  3. Garnish with parsley or a squeeze of lemon if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or skillet to maintain flakiness.
