Homemade Watermelon Popsicles

  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed Choose a ripe watermelon.
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar Optional, adjust based on sweetness preference.

Preparation
  1. Select a ripe watermelon and cube it into manageable pieces.
  2. In a blender, combine the cubed watermelon, lime juice, and honey or sugar.
  3. Blend until reaching a smooth consistency, adjusting sweetness if necessary.
Freezing
  1. Pour the watermelon mixture into popsicle molds or small paper cups.
  2. Insert a wooden stick in the center and place in the freezer.
  3. Freeze for at least 4-5 hours, or until solid.
Serving
  1. To remove popsicles, run warm water over the molds for a few seconds.
  2. Gently pull the popsicles out and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with flavors by adding mint, berries, or coconut water. For chunkier popsicles, blend half of the watermelon and chop the other half.
