Ingredients

For the Chicken Patties
  • 1 lb Ground chicken Use fresh ground chicken for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Freshly cracked for better flavor.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For greasing the grill.
For Assembly
  • 4 slices Pineapple slices Fresh pineapple works best.
  • 4 leaves Butter lettuce leaves For a low-carb option, use in place of buns.
  • 1/2 cup Chipotle ranch dressing For drizzling on top.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into burger patties, aiming for about ½ inch thick for even cooking.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high and brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the patties on the grill. Cook each side for about 5-6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  3. During the last few minutes of grilling, add pineapple slices to the grill to caramelize.
  4. Assemble your burgers with the chicken patty, grilled pineapple, and a drizzle of chipotle ranch dressing on butter lettuce leaves.

Notes

For custom flavors, you can add herbs or spices to the patty mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
