Preparation
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot, then add a tablespoon of butter.
Cooking
- Add the steak pieces in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the remaining butter. Once melted, add minced garlic, stirring until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter until well coated.
- If desired, add red pepper flakes or a splash of lemon juice, mixing well.
Serving
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Let the steak rest for a few minutes before cutting to retain juiciness. Cook in batches to ensure a nice crust. Lower the heat when making the garlic butter to prevent burning.
