Preparation
- Slice ripe peaches into thin wedges.
- On a large serving platter, place the burrata cheese in the center and gently tear it open.
- Surround the burrata with the sliced peaches.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves around the peaches and burrata.
- Drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Serve immediately while the peaches are fresh and the cheese is creamy.
Notes
For a crunch, consider adding toasted nuts like pecans or walnuts. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but consume within a day or two for optimal taste.
